It's a Beautiful Day for Adventure Ship Manitoulin Island I'm finally getting the chance to write. I know  it hasn't been that long, but I have done so much! The driving hasn't been too bad, but I have made a few long days. The scenery for the most part has been spectacular, and I think I may have even caught a glimpse of a bear! In the last few days, I have made my way to Sudbury, and I have toured around the lovely Manitoulin Island. More than Just a Big Nickel As (almost) any tourist would, I stopped in at The Big Nickel while visiting Sudbury. However, this stop was more than just glancing at the nickel. I decided to tour around Dynamic Earth, which included a really cool tour where you went underground into a mock mine to learn about the history of mining, and gain an understanding about how mines work. Ready to Hit the Road

Welcome to My First Cross-Canada Adventure!  I have decided to try out this whole "blog" thing as I make my way from Southwestern Ontario, to British Columbia and back. I have never considered myself a writer, so you will have to bear with me as I stumble along. My goal is to try to post when I get the chance, but given my journey, I am not sure how often that will be. I hope you enjoy reading along, and thank you, for joining me on my adventure! The Journey  I will be staying at a variety of different accommodations, which includes a lot of camping, a few hostels, and of course, staying with some family and friends. I will be travelling north through Ontario, before heading west, hitting up several provincial and national parks along the way. Of course, this is more than just a hiking adventure! When I get to Jasper National Park, I will being doing the Icewalk , which will take me out onto the Athabasca glacier! When I get to BC I have a whale watching tour planned ...
