Ready to Hit the Road

Welcome to My First Cross-Canada Adventure!

I have decided to try out this whole "blog" thing as I make my way from Southwestern Ontario, to British Columbia and back. I have never considered myself a writer, so you will have to bear with me as I stumble along. My goal is to try to post when I get the chance, but given my journey, I am not sure how often that will be. I hope you enjoy reading along, and thank you, for joining me on my adventure!

The Journey

I will be staying at a variety of different accommodations, which includes a lot of camping, a few hostels, and of course, staying with some family and friends. I will be travelling north through Ontario, before heading west, hitting up several provincial and national parks along the way. Of course, this is more than just a hiking adventure! When I get to Jasper National Park, I will being doing the Icewalk, which will take me out onto the Athabasca glacier! When I get to BC I have a whale watching tour planned in Vancouver, in addition to a journey across the new Peak Suspension Bridge in Whistler!

Packed and Ready

Tonight I packed my bags, which is probably the earliest I have ever packed before a trip! My camping gear is ready. I just need to load up my car, and I am good to go. Only two more sleeps until I hit the road! Saying I'm excited is an understatement. Months of planning and researching, and now the wait is over, the time is finally here!

I can't wait to share my adventure with you!
